Why we ask for 21 nights

The tan lands overnight. The smoothing does not, and we would rather tell you that than sell you a miracle.

Brownie Butter works on Centella Asiatica and Korean ginseng. Body Glaze Oil works on meadowfoam and black currant seed. Both of them need three to four weeks of daily pressing before the look of dimpling softens enough to read in the mirror. A week is not a fair test of the kit. Three weeks is.

So the guarantee asks for 21 nights of daily use inside your 30-day window. Keep track of your start date, tell us when you write in, and if the mirror still disagrees, the refund is yours.

Write to support@tanbrownies.com with your order number and your start date. We reply the same business day with the return address.

Ship it back, we refund

Send back what you have, opened bottles included. Return shipping is on you. Your full refund is issued once the return reaches us.

Before you return it, try this

Most kits come back for one reason: the shade wasn't right. That is a five-minute fix, not a refund. Write to us and we'll send a different shade at no cost, and you keep the balm and the oil and carry on with the ritual. Blondie if you want gradual, Coconut Fudge for medium, Mocha Melt or Black Forest Cake if your undertones run olive or cool.

Questions, answered

When does my 30 days start?

The day your order is delivered, not the day you ordered. Shipping time is ours, not yours.

What if I only used it for a week?

Write to us anyway. The 21 nights exist so the product gets a fair test, not so we can turn you down on a technicality. If something went wrong - a reaction, a shade you hate, a bottle that arrived broken - that is a different conversation and we handle it the same day.

Do I have to send the products back?

Yes. A refund requires returning the kit. Opened and used bottles are fine, just return what you have. Return shipping is the customer's responsibility.

How do you know I used it for 21 nights?

We ask for your start date and we take your word for it. If you want to make the claim easier, take a photo of the area on night one and another on night twenty-one. It helps you see the change too, which is usually the point where people decide to keep it.

Can I get store credit instead?

If you'd rather have credit than cash back, we'll give you 120% of what you paid to spend on anything in the shop. Cash refund stays available either way - your choice, not ours.

How many times can I use this?

One guarantee claim per customer and per shipping address, on a first kit order. Proof of purchase required.

Is this the same as the Taste Test?

No. The Taste Test is our try-before-you-buy program, where nothing is charged at checkout and you have 14 days from delivery to send it back. The Smoothing Guarantee applies to kits you paid for at checkout, and runs 30 days. Different programs, different windows.
